Hi, I’m Flora!

I grew up moving all over the country—from North Carolina to Hawaiʻi—and each place shaped the way I notice the world. Constant change taught me to slow down and pay attention to the small, meaningful details: the way light settles on a table, how nature holds emotion, the quiet tenderness that exists between people.

Working in watercolor and acrylic, I create paintings inspired by still lifes, natural landscapes, and moments of gentle human connection—along with the in-between scenes that don’t always have a name. My work is playful and soft, grounded in observation but guided by feeling, where familiar objects and everyday moments carry warmth, curiosity, and care.

At its core, my art is about holding onto what’s fleeting. Each piece is meant to feel like a pause in time—comforting, a little nostalgic, and quietly joyful. I want my work to invite you to linger, to notice, and to feel connected to the beauty woven through ordinary life.
